Description and Notes
Nicorette Gum is a chewing gum containing a nicotine resin. Nicorette gum can assist you to give up smoking, by helping you to get used to life without cigarettes.
Directions
Nicorette gum is the best solution to help you give up smoking if your cigarette consumption is irregular. For example if you smoke more on some occasions than on others and prefer something to chew and occupy your hands.
For those who smoke at regular intervals during the day and don't need to chew to deal with the habit then the Nicorette patches which supply an even supply of nicotine throughout the day may be more suitable. It is recommended that you begin treatment with the 2-mg strength. If you find yourself using more than 15 pieces of the 2mg strength each day, you may wish to transfer to the 4mg strength.
One fresh piece of Nicorette should be chewed slowly each time you feel the urge to smoke a cigarette. The gum has a peppery or mint flavour that should not be unpleasant to smokers. You should chew each piece slowly for 30 minutes to release all the nicotine from the gum.
